Amazon blocked 10 billion listings in counterfeit crackdown
Last year (2020), Amazon took a stand and blocked 10 billion suspected phony listings before any of their offerings could be sold. This is thanks to new tools and technologies that were introduced to combat counterfeiting in 2019. As a result, the number of suspected bad listings that it blocked last year was up about 67% from the year before.
