Hello Amazon Seller,
Amazon's Prime Day Is Oct 13-14, But It Really Started Last Monday
Amazon has announced that its annual Prime Day (actually two days) will run over October 13 and October 14. The period will balloon Amazon’s sales for the quarter, as it has done for five years. However, Amazon Prime Day sales begin last Monday (September 28) for Prime members.
|
However, the sales offered are almost entirely of Amazon’s own products. That means that these products will be available for almost two weeks with little competition, allowing it to sell products that likely have high margins. These products also can gain market share in their categories early. The company is pushing its Alexa-powered home assistant, Fire TV, Kindle Reader, Kindle Books, its grocery business, toys and small appliances now.

Discounts seem like a perfect solution. Discounted price = More customers = Higher ranking and chances of landing Page One
|
But.. Product giveaways on Amazon don’t work long-term! For one, it costs you so much money because you’re selling your goods at a 70-90% discount...

Watch Lewis Civin, Zonbase Founder and CEO, give you his insights about Product Giveaways.

Fulfilled By Merchant Account Suspensions
I saw this somewhere and thought I would add it here:
|
“As of Thursday, October 8, 2020, Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) will no longer accept Plans of Action (POAs) for suspension via email. We will only accept POAs submitted through the “Create POA” button on the Performance Dashboard. Also, please use the Create POA button to inform us of any other SFP account-related issues, such as a carrier truck breaking down, and we will take this information into consideration when reviewing the status of your account.”
